We purchased a section in Waitemata Drive at Marsden Cove and began looking for a builder. We had a meeting with this young handsome man whom we thought couldn’t possibly be old enough to own and project manage his own building company, however he was.  We asked him all the hard questions as you do.. he answered everything very well, so well we decided to build with his company "Marsden Homes".  Doug already had the design and David just took care of everything from start to finish.  David is a builder who listens to what you want, your needs and those extras you want towards the end of the build like a very large deck (thank you).

He has the WOW factor…and we are NOT kidding.

We have a 1960s house that we wanted to renovate and modernise. It can be difficult to renovate an older home and still make it "fit and flow" but Marsden Homes exceeded our expectations regarding this.

From building our fabulous enlarged kitchen, bathroom, guest room, dining room and lounge, to creating an open, spacious and modern patio to take full advantage of our coastal views, Marsden Homes have been brilliant. They completed our renovations in a timely, efficient manner and kept us well informed as the work progressed.

We were particularly impressed with their workmanship and attention to detail and it was all completed within our stipulated budget. We have no hesitation in recommending Marsden Homes to anyone considering building or renovating.

I advertised for a building team to assist me in building a new house for my daughter. Marsden Homes were one of numerous builders that responded, so I selected a short list and asked them to meet me on site for an interview.

Marsden Homes impressed me the most and I then hired them, on a labour only and cost plus basis.  I quickly found them to be a very organised and skilled team, with the result that I employed them through to the end of the contract. A bonus was their likability, nothing too hard, and willing to put in the extra time and effort when needed. In addition to the main house, I then asked them to build a minor dwelling for myself and wife, plus a stables and barn, all of which they built carefully and accurately.

Their paper work is also of a high standard, and they presented fully detailed invoices on a fortnightly basis, this is an area where some builders fall short, but not in their case. They work well together and are very good at communication, I was always fully informed of the situation on site, and warned well in advance where it was necessary for me to provide materials or sub-contractors. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any building project.

Marsden homes did an awesome job on our bathroom renovation. It looks great, and everything was just how we wanted it. Great communication, and an excellent team to work with! Recommend these guys 100%
